My name is Benjamin Sunkyong Kim. I’m a freelance digitech based in New York City since 2022. I was born in Tokyo, Japan but originally lived in South Korea. I have a quite complicated background because my dad is a professor and scientist but at least I finally settled in NYC since 2009.
I didn’t expect to start working as a digitech but it quickly became my job. Since 2022, I’ve had the opportunity to support a variety of photographers and productions in many ways. Being a tech geek gave me an advantage—my passion for knowledge has become both my joy and my profession. Today, it’s my responsibility to help ensure smooth, efficient, and flawless productions for every team I worked with.
